Advanced Basic Pistol Shooting

Course Lessons:
- Handgun safety in the classroom, at home, on the firing range, and while carrying the firearm
- Target recognition and identification
- Use of cover and concealment
- What constittues a deadly threat
- Drawing and shooting from a holster
- Moving and shooting
- Use of Deadly Force
- What happens if I'm involved in a shooting?
- Live firing on our range. Student is able to bring up to 250 rounds of ammunition for this class.
What you need to know
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Have your own firearm and means to secure and conceal it on your person
- A concealed carry class preferred but not necessary
Course Length and Cost:
- This is a 4 hour course and is currently $50
- Hero's and Veterans and active Military is $45
- Private groups can get additional savings upon contacting Bronson at 618-795-6028
Prerequisites
- There are no prerequisites for taking this course. Just arrive with an open mind and a positive attitude, ready to learn.
Course Completion
- Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a course certificate.
- Participants will also receive constructive suggestions and coaching during the live fire exercises.
